Gold-Date is a shidduch site for the religious, Haredi and traditional community in Israel. Here is what you get when you join — starting with the three things that make it different.

The three things that make Gold-Date different

Golda, the AI matchmaker. A personal conversation that gets to know you and what you are looking for, suggestions with an explanation of why each one fits, help writing your profile, and fresh suggestions every week. Golda currently speaks Hebrew.

Private photos. Switch them on and your photos stay blurred until you approve someone’s request. You manage pending requests and see whom you have approved.

Message control. Five filters decide who can write to you: “only I start conversations”, age, height, shomer negiah and marital status.

A detailed profile

• Religious life — your outlook (Haredi, Modern Haredi, Dati Leumi, traditional, Breslov, Chabad, baal teshuva and more), prayer, kashrut, shomer negiah and family background.
• Appearance and dress — including kippah type and head covering.
• Lifestyle — occupation, education, army or yeshiva service, smoking.
• Family — children, views on children’s education, and Kohen status.
• Character — the traits that describe you best.
• In your own words — “about me” and “what I am looking for”, checked by AI to keep out fake text.

Photos

A photo is always optional. If you add photos, AI checks help with the basics — detecting screenshots, fixing orientation, spotting blur — with one-click suggestions and built-in cropping. Every photo is approved by our team before anyone sees it.

Search, likes and profile views

• Search by age, height, religious outlook, kashrut, prayer, shomer negiah, location, education, occupation, smoking and character traits, and save your filters.
• Like profiles, and see who liked you.
• See who viewed your profile.

Chat

• Real-time messages, read receipts and online status.
• Mute, block, clear history, view profile, or report — right from the chat.
• Offensive-language filtering.

Safety

• Block any user in one click, with a reason, and manage your blocked list.
• Report users from the chat; reports are reviewed by our team.

Notifications

• Real-time notifications for messages, likes, profile views and photo requests.
• Email reminders about messages you have not answered yet.

Sign-up and your account

• Sign up with email and password, with email verification — or sign in with Google or Facebook.
• Password reset, and a CAPTCHA check on every log-in attempt.
• Disposable email addresses are blocked.
• Edit your profile at any time, pause your account, or delete it.
